Your role

As an Embedded Software Engineer, you will be part of a dynamic team working on complex software development projects. You will be responsible for implementing software, using your expertise in programming languages such as C, C++, C# and Python. You will work closely with the project team to define requirements and create architecture and design solutions.
Besides writing quality code, you perform extensive testing and reviews to ensure the reliability and efficiency of the software. Your documentation skills are essential to capture technical specifications and provide support to the team. With your passion for technology and knowledge of operating systems such as Linux, Unix and Windows, you will contribute to the development of innovative embedded software solutions.

Your background

This is nothing new for you:

A completed college and/or university education in the field of Technical Computer Science or equivalent.
Minimum 1 year of relevant work experience in (technical) software development.
Experience with embedded (control) systems such as Linux, Unix, Windows, QNX.
Experience with the programming languages C and C++.
Knowledge of development methodologies and techniques including OO, UML and TDD.
Knowledge of working methodologies including DevOps, Agile/Scrum and/or Kanban.
Dutch and English.

This is nice:

Python experience.
Skilled in using GIT and setting up and managing repositories.
Experience in working with CI/CD tools.
Experience with Yocto.
Affinity with Jira, Confluence, GIT and/or QT.
