1. Introduction
Dit betreft de privacy verklaring van Veynex® Recruitment B.V., h.o.d.n. Veynex® Embedded Software, hierna te noemen “Veynex® Embedded Software”, gevestigd te Sittard-Geleen en kantoorhoudende te ( 6163 CX ) aan de Transportlaan 25. De privacy verklaring is van toepassing op de verwerking van persoonsgegevens van onze klanten, leveranciers, medewerkers, sollicitanten en andere personen die onze website bezoeken of contact met ons hebben.
Voor Veynex® Embedded Software is de bescherming van persoonsgegevens zeer belangrijk. Veynex® Embedded Software respecteert uw privacy en draagt er zorg voor dat uw persoonsgegevens altijd vertrouwelijk en in overeenstemming met de toepasselijke privacywetgeving worden behandeld. Wij streven ernaar om de privacy van onze klanten, leveranciers, medewerkers en derden zo goed mogelijk te waarborgen. Daarbij gelden de volgende uitgangspunten:
- we do not process more personal data than permitted by law and only insofar as such data are necessary for the performance of the agreement and the fulfilment of statutory obligations (e.g. where it concerns the payment of taxes and contributions);
- personal data are confidential and on that basis only accessible to those employees, who need this information to perform the work;
- we ensure proper security of personal data. This applies to both physical security (where paper files are concerned) and digital security (where digital files are concerned). Moreover, the files are secured against data leaks to the outside world;
- we do not retain personal data longer than necessary to perform the agreement or comply with legal obligations.

2. Verwerking van persoonsgegevens door Veynex® Embedded Software
We process the following personal data:
- the data concerning (contact) persons of the companies with which we do business and which you provide to us in the context of the performance of agreements concluded with us or the preparation thereof, such as a contract of assignment, secondment agreement, employment contract and the like;
- the data you provide yourself, which we use for the performance of our services, including recruitment and selection of staff, secondment, personnel administration, IT training, etc;
- the data we collect, especially if you visit our website. This may include data that you send to us via our website, but also data that we collect automatically via the website, such as browser data, pages you visit, links you click, IP address data, etc.
3. When do we collect personal data
We collect your personal data including:
- If you contact us via the contact form on the website, by e-mail or by telephone, we process the data you provide. This includes the contact details you provide to us (name, e-mail address, phone number, etc.) and the reason why you are contacting us (e.g. because you want to respond to a vacancy).
- If you visit the website, we process analytical data about (the computer of) visitors to our website via cookies that are placed when you visit the website. More information on this can be found in our cookie statement. The data we collect about visitors to the website is only used to keep statistics on visits to the website (e.g. to see which pages are most frequently viewed). The data is stored anonymously.
- If customers, where you have been offered or where you work or have worked, share personal information about you with us.
- from social media only if we have a legitimate reason to believe that you would be interested in our services.
4. Purposes of processing
Uw persoonsgegevens worden door Veynex® Embedded Software verwerkt voor de volgende doeleinden:
- the performance of the contract(s) concluded with you, e.g. assignment contract, employment contract, secondment contract;
- the performance of our services (both internal and external), including recruitment and selection of staff, secondment, IT training and the like;
- conducting administration as well as other internal management activities;
- liaising with you and responding to questions raised by you;
- To inform you about developments in the market;
- conducting customer satisfaction surveys;

5. Legal grounds for processing your personal data
The legal grounds for the aforementioned purposes of processing are as follows:
- the performance of the contract concluded with you, e.g. the assignment contract and/or the employment contract and/or taking pre-contractual measures at your request;

7. Mandatory disclosure of personal data
Wanneer wij om uw persoonsgegevens vragen, dan zullen wij per situatie kenbaar maken of de verstrekking van de gegevens noodzakelijk of verplicht is en wat de mogelijke gevolgen zijn indien de gegevens niet worden verstrekt. Uitgangspunt daarbij is steeds, dat Veynex® Embedded Software niet meer persoonsgegevens zal verwerken dan noodzakelijk voor de hiervoor beschreven doeleinden.
Wij kunnen uw gegevens verstrekken aan derden. Dit kan bijvoorbeeld aan onze opdrachtnemers of leveranciers die namens Veynex® Embedded Software diensten of opdrachten uitvoeren, derden zoals dienstverleners die functies in onze opdracht uitvoeren, opdrachtgevers waar we u voor kunnen stellen, derden die informatie over bijvoorbeeld uw referentie hebben of geschiktheid, derden aan wie wij uw gegevens (met uw toestemming) verstrekken of op uw verzoek gegevens delen in verband met dataportabiliteit, en in alle overige gevallen als wij daartoe op grond van geldende wet- en regelgeving verplicht worden, bijvoorbeeld aan de politie in het kader van een opsporingsonderzoek of door een gerechtelijk bevel of vonnis.

9. Retention period
Veynex® Embedded Software bewaart uw persoonsgegevens conform de geldende wet- en regelgeving en niet langer dan noodzakelijk is voor de verwezenlijking van de hierboven omschreven doeleinden, tenzij deze gegevens noodzakelijk zijn ter voldoening aan een wettelijke bewaarplicht met daarin voorgeschreven bewaartermijnen.
10. Security of your personal data
Veynex® Embedded Software zal passende technische en organisatorische maatregelen nemen om persoonsgegevens te beveiligen tegen verlies of tegen enige onrechtmatige vorm van verwerking. In dat kader zijn diverse maatregelen genomen, waaronder encryptie van data, versleutelde communicatie en behandeling van de data als zijnde vertrouwelijk. Door Veynex® Embedded Software ingeschakelde derden die uw persoonsgegevens verwerken, dienen dezelfde technische en organisatorische maatregelen te nemen ter bescherming van de persoonsgegevens tegen verlies of tegen enige onrechtmatige vorm van verwerking. Afspraken hierover heeft Veynex® Embedded Software vastgelegd in verwerkersovereenkomsten.
11. Your rights
Under the General Data Protection Regulation, you have several rights. We would like to list these rights for you herewith:
1. Right of inspection
U heeft het recht om de gegevens die bij Veynex® Embedded Software van u zijn vastgelegd, in te zien.
2. Right of correction and annulment
You have the right to have your data amended. You also have the right to have your data destroyed, unless it is reasonable to assume that further retention may be of substantial interest to someone other than you, as well as if a legal requirement precludes destruction.
3. Right of objection
Een recht van bezwaar houdt in, dat u vanwege uw specifieke situatie bezwaar kunt maken tegen bepaalde verwerkingen van uw persoonsgegevens. U heeft het recht bij alle verwerkingen die niet zijn gebaseerd op uw toestemming, het niet voldoen aan wettelijke verplichtingen voor Veynex® Embedded Software of voor het beschermen van vitale belangen van u zelf of anderen, bezwaar te maken.
4. Right to restriction
U heeft onder omstandigheden ook het recht op de beperking van de verwerking van uw gegevens. Dat houdt kort gezegd in, dat Veynex® Embedded Software de verwerking van uw gegevens “tijdelijk” bevriest. U kunt dit recht inroepen in vier situaties:
- pending the assessment of a correction request;
- if data should actually be deleted where you do not want deletion;
- indien Veynex® Embedded Software de gegevens niet langer nodig heeft, terwijl u de gegevens wel nodig heeft voor de voorbereiding op een rechtszaak;
- pending consideration of an objection.
5. Data portability
U heeft het recht om door u aan Veynex® Embedded Software verstrekte gegevens (terug) te ontvangen in een gangbaar bestandsformaat. Dit recht geldt alleen voor de persoonsgegevens die wij verwerken op grond van uw toestemming of een met u gesloten overeenkomst. Het recht geldt bovendien alleen voor de gegevens die wij al in digitale vorm verwerken (dus niet voor “papieren” verwerkingen). U bent vrij de gegevens vervolgens door te geven aan een andere partij.
6. Withdrawal of consent
For the data described above, we process your data on the basis of your consent. You have the right to withdraw a consent once given at any time. We will then discontinue processing as soon as possible. Withdrawal of consent does not have retroactive effect. All processing that has already taken place therefore remains lawful.
12. Deadlines
In principle, we will answer your questions/requests within four weeks of submitting the request. Should answering your question/request take longer, we will inform you within four weeks.
13. Changes
Things may sometimes change in the personal data we process or the applicable regulations. In that case, we may amend this privacy notice. In case of substantial changes, we will post a notification on the website and inform you of the change by e-mail.
